A Special Report on Supplements and Training For Endurance Athletes

As an endurance athlete, you've probably never heard of "stacking". Body builders coined this term in the seventies to describe the use of various supplements and compounds to improve their performance. Michael Zumpano coined the term Metabolic Optimization in the early eighties to describe his systematic approach to training and nutrition. While he was studying athletes he discovered that certain athletes continued to get bigger, stronger and faster as long as they continued to train. This was in contrast to "average" athletes who eventually plateaued and stopped improving. The athletes that kept getting better where what Mike called the "genetic elite". Mike realized that the primary difference between average and genetically elite was in the perfection of their metabolic processes.

You can view the metabolic processes as links in a chain. The strength of the entire chain can be compromised by only one weak link. Genetically elite athletes, Mike learned, simply had few (or no) weak links. This discovery lead Mike to develop his theory of Metabolic Optimization. He found that by maximizing or optimizing the performance of each of the body's metabolic links, even average athletes began to perform more like the genetic elite. His systematic approach to the improvement of each individual system has helped hundreds of athletes achieve levels of performance they never even imagined possible.

Each product he designed has a specific role in his Metabolic Optimization program. However, Michael never revealed his complete Metabolic Optimization routine to any but the most fortunate group of elite athletes. Nevertheless, as savvy athletes began to discover that certain combinations of Champion products worked especially well, they began to use what has now come to be called the system.

That said, lets get on with it and divulge the stack that can help you get faster, stronger and help you push yourself harder and for longer than you ever thought you could!


MUSCLE NITRO is really a little known, dark horse product that can make a huge and immediate difference in your performance. Ask anyone that has used it correctly and they'll tell you that it makes an astounding difference in how you feel and in how you recover. The good news is that hydrating regularly with Revenge Pro solves all of these problems. By ingesting fluids every fifteen minutes during exertion, you can maintain plasma volume and offset dehydration. A number of factors dictate how well and how completely you can recover. But none are more critical than protein. Protein is the building block from which your body assembles and repairs all of your tissues. As you train and compete, your body is constantly being broken down. These losses are reflected in your nitrogen retention status. When you are losing protein from your muscles you are in a negative nitrogen balance. This is bad!

Being in negative nitrogen balance means you are losing muscle. If you are an endurance athlete in intensive training, you don't have muscle to spare!

The good news is you can do something about it! Supplementing your diet with a concentrated easily digestible source of protein will help you maintain a positive nitrogen balance. Preferably, this protein should also be especially high in both glutamine and also in those critically important branched chain amino acids.

This means that sugar is quickly and effectively driven into the cells of both the muscles and the liver. As glucose is drawn into the cells it can carry amino acids with it. This speeds the rate at which the additional protein can be used to begin repairing the muscles that you have recently traumatized.

One other little known fact is that other nutrients are also more rapidly absorbed at this time. Things like Power Creatine are especially effective when taken in combination with your post workout meal and within the crucial two hour window.
